Updated Titles

Core: Introduction to Basic Construction Skills:

The recently released sixth edition of NCCER's Core, which is a prerequisite to all other Level 1 craft curriculum, features a new module introducing construction careers, more rigorous performance tests and extensive updates on math, hand tools, power tools and drawings. Completing this curriculum gives the trainee the basic skills needed to continue education in any craft area he or she chooses. 

Concrete Construction:

Now available, the recently updated Concrete Construction Levels 1 - 2 have been revised to reflect the best practices and techniques from industry leaders around the country. Designed to give trainees the full scope of tasks on a concrete job site, this curriculum offers the latest on:

  • Developments in Finishing
  • Concrete Repair
  • Properties of Concrete
  • Troubleshooting & Quality Control

Electrical:

The much-anticipated 10th edition of Electrical Levels 1-4 have been updated to meet 2020 NFPA 70: National Electrical Code® (NEC)! Written in conjunction with subject matter experts from around the nation, NCCER Electrical includes:

  • Over 6,000 NEC references including new content covering NEC numbering standard with additional trainee exercises.
  • Updated sections on safety, with shock and arc blast hazards, PPE, ladder safety and more.
  • New applications in lighting, including LED technology.
  • New, optional career pathway after completing Electrical Levels 1-2 for Electronic Systems Technician.
